This marks an increase in pressure on the university. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem issued this notification in a letter dated the 16th. Prior to this, Harvard refused to comply with the administration's demand to 'audit' the opinions of faculty, students, and staff under federal government oversight on the 14th.
