China’s ecnomy is weak, 300B in surplus is a big blow, but It won’t collapse the CCP. Sorry to blow your bubble. Americans need to stop worrying so much about China’s economy collapsing. The chinese people have more of a pain tolerance than Americans. I mean they simply just save more money than the average American. Will both economies suffer, yes, but will it collapse both, probably not. It’s an authoritarian government vs a democratic one. The US does have to advantage as itcan basically print as much money as it needs to get out of any hole it digs. What you should worry about if you’re a MAGA supporter is the farmers who will end up going bankrupt as a result of this trade war. There are no winners in a trade war .-.

What you’ll most likely see if a proxy war. Everyone that surrounds Trump is Hawkish on China. I mean if there’s one thing that’s bipartisan it’s China is the enemy. The US wants taiwan, because it’s a strategic military and economic location. If the US wants to decouple from China, well it can do that if it wants. But it’ll be painful for both countries. US will probably be fine. US consumers will see price hikes, but it won’t collapse. We have the privilege of being the reserve currency so we print our way out of trouble until it stops working. We also don’t have the infrastructure in many of  our cities. We can’t bring manufacturing in a day or months it takes years!! We can’t even fix our roads and potholes. We will still have to import from other countries wether you like it or not because it takes time to bring back manufacturing. Subsidies work and do bring manufacturing back which is why TSMC built factories in America because of the Chips Act that Trump is claiming credit for but actively workjg to remove it. Yes the chips act was flawddd but it still boosted many and lowered the cost of doing. just like how the CCP subsidize manfuacturing, but slapping tariffs on everything doesn’t solve anything and could perhaps worsen the problem we are trying to solve.

• 10baggerbamm OP Shroomie : it's going to happen I mean just look at what's going on with Nvidia it's really that simple and Nvidia is the poster child the first week Larry Ellison the CEO of SoftBank right everybody's up there $500 billion dollars is  data centers make the US the  technology capital of the world .every company that's Chinese is fuck man I'm telling you they are screwed blued in tattooed there's no exceptions going to be made I mean he's destroying in video right now you're watching it happen and I said a long fucking time ago that Jensen should pull out of China I said this last year when Biden was imposing restrictions on Nvidia I said Jensen should put on a red white and blue leather jacket and say I'm an American and this is what I believe is my duty as a CEO not to sell gpus into China if they want to buy gaming chips that's fine but no gpus of any kind he would have been rewarded for that with the higher stock price now the stock is fucking garbage it is dead money there's no tail winds everything is a hurdle in front of them and it's going to keep hitting them there's going to be further limitations. you have three buckets as the head of the treasury describes it a green a yellow and a red the green are going to get the lowest tariffs then the yellow and guess who's in the red well you know what there's going to be a lot of other countries in the yellow and the red they're going to be restricted that Nvidia and other companies won't be permitted to sell to I can guarantee you that that I will 100% guarantee.
  and all that's going to do is further deteriorate Nvidia it takes away from the overall profitability it takes away from their profit margins because they have a cost associated with design and the more units they sell the higher the margins are the less they sell the lower the margins are so this is nothing but going to continuously destroy value for NVIDIA the stock's fucking dead money it's a great company it's a shit investment plain and simple and as far as owning Chinese stocks you're out of your fucking mind I think you're playing with fire you're playing Russian roulette with the semi-automatic owning a Chinese stock that trades on any US exchange it's really that simple.
