Waiting is a virtue in investing most of the time, right? Let's wait while rejuvenating ourselves. (image from the Internet) Since all of my stocks are tied with call options (the deep dive learning phase I'm in right now), I losed my rights to participate in any short term upside in the event of a rebound. So, I'm thinking of compensating this by buying call options to resell them. Is this a viable tactic? I have the list, but do I have the guts?

follow up I just want to show you a long-term chart of the underlying index that it mirrors with a 2X magnification. this is CIBR and you can see that over time it's going in One direction and that's because you cannot reduce your cybersecurity protection. any day stocks can be down because they are stocks that are traded within a market so you can have an event take place from a particular company where they miss earnings or guide lower and it can pull down the index you can have a global event take place a geopolitical event take place the market sells off these stocks sell off. whoever overtime this is one that you want to buy dollar cost average in and just build a position and anytime the market takes a dump at a little more.
I'm really not too proficient this, and I am fumbling and tumbling along the way. Micron and OKTA unexpectedly gapped up earlier this month, and the covered call options' expiry are coming soon (Micron's is this Friday). Assuming the market price on Friday remains above my strike price like what it is now, when is the right time for me to roll it/ them? Is it at the very last moment or earlier? How should I determine what and when to do it, and how to opt...

u can always let them go and sell put option again. after all you believe their stock will go up right? so sell put option now (at lower strike price), earn the premium. if you get assigned, congrats on getting the stock at cheaper price!

The problem is the 'if'', if I get it back at lower price. But what if in don't? Not willing to lose it now, I'm only entered these positions recently. Not done with it yet.
The tech market was turbulent in the last weeks of February, and now investors must beware of the Ides of March. Equity prices rebounded mid-week on Wednesday, March 5th. What can investors look toward for safety while the tech market falls? First up, how did we get here? The Nasdaq index fell nearly 10% from recent highs set on February 19th. It started with a short week, a historically bad thing for equity prices in 2025. Market...

why would you invest in China now? Huge problems generally. During China's decades long growth spurt, with 2x digit GPD growth, you've lost about 1/3rd of your capital in the share market. So now you want to play China? They have huge problems. ( who doesnt) How about Germany ( DAX). That's where people are rotating to. Besides, you don't actually own shares of most Chinese stocks. Literally own nothing ( well, a piece of paper in the Caymans, perhaps). What's going on with the specs there big boy? You seem an unlikely character. Almost fictional. ( a bit like lovely blonde in the chat who writes Engliah with a Chinese affect, rather obviously ).

haha fair play! What are your thoughts on 'owning' Chinese stocks as an investor outside of China, given that most stocks can't actually be owned.
