• Prosperity8888 : Problem is it hasnt reach its bottom. Nike sales in China account for almost 25%. Before this ,Nike has already reduced its profit outlook. Now with these tariffs war, expect Nike sales to plunge even more especially wheb the world is against US brands and companies. If recession were to hit, it will take years for Nike to achieve profit again

• Prosperity8888 Saywallahcuzzy OP : Nothing to do with tariffs in china but more on sales. Nike products are mostly Made In Vietnam so the tariffs doesn’t affect Asia region but Nike being a well known American brand will indirectly be implicated in this tariff war. The chinese have no shortage of their sports brands to purchase. You can take Tesla as an example almost every countries in the world is now boycotting it, so if this escalates American companies like Nike, Starbucks will definitely see sales dropped.Since Nike is not a major manufacturer in China the Chinese government might even allow counterfeit to flood the market further affecting Nike sales.
