A Humble Mooer : got a link to this info? Bessent's media appearances have gone from good and informative to rambling and incoherent.
I have stopped watching for the most part because the market isn't driven by anything fundamental anymore. Its all Trump fart analysis. soon CNBC will be analyzing wave patterns in trumps hair and asking Dan Ives what he thinks about the presidential makeup and what it means for tech
10baggerbamm OP A Humble Mooer : this was this morning on mornings with Maria on Fox Business Maria bartiromo. and you are right because Trump farts and stocks stink right I mean that's kind of what's happening right now ultimately once we get through this quarter it seems what it's going to turn into maybe a little quicker they're saying we can get back to earnings and news that's relevant to the company and not just salesmanship to try to resolve this trade deficit and refinancing of 70% of the 36 trillion in the next 24 months.
A Humble Mooer 10baggerbamm OP : USD has to come down off it's highs. That's the feds job to loosen monetary policy. Trump is creating the Greatest American uncertainty of my lifetime. This is not an investment environment. This is a pullback and retrenchment time. I'm seeing rising probability that experience a lost decade in tech investment at the exact same time as China pulls ahead to dominate the entire high tech stack in addition to their dominanting trade in developing nations. It's just a tickle right now maybe a 10% chance but its a scary thought
Towlboi : People have hinted at stuff like this for years…nothing will happen.
