$Apple (AAPL.US)$ 1. On April 19th, U.S. President Trump unexpectedly stated during a media briefing at the White House on April 18th, "By the way, we're having nice conversations going with China. It's really very good."
2. Trump did not provide further details. The day before, he hinted that the tariff war between the U.S. and China might end, as he does not want tariff increases to discourage consumer spending.
