I have 2 reference companies when looking at Bursa plantation companies – BPlant and KLK. Astral ROE relative to these 2 were very low. So it is not a company I would dig further from a fundamental perspective.
But if you are a punter, the comparison of its ROE and share price may present some ideas. You can see the share price being relatively flat currently whereas the ROE had improved.
