Shimizu Corporation Revises Financial and Dividend Forecasts Upward

Robo-Welder achieves productivity equivalent to that of a welding technician with a 7-axis robot arm.
Shimizu Corporation (President Tatsuya Shinmura) has recently made a fundamental review of the functions of the welding robot developed earlier, expanding its working Range by making the robotic arm 7-axis and enabling the same torch movements as welding engineers, as well as collaboration with welding engineers for quality checks. The improved version, "Robo-Welder," has been developed and put into practical use. Its excellent productivity has been demonstrated at a large-scale complex facility site in Tokyo.
