While the profit estimates for the five postal banks <7182> and Japan Post Insurance <7181> will be revised upwards in November 2024 due to improved operating conditions and increased Asset Management revenue, the consolidated financial estimates for the full year are uncertain, particularly regarding the impact on future profits and losses from the upcoming postal rate revision at its consolidated subsidiary, Japan Post.
