CINESE INTL (01620.HK) profit warning: expect a pre-tax loss of no less than 28 million HKD in 2024.
On March 25, Gelonghui reported that CINESE INTL (01620.HK) announced its latest unaudited consolidated management account preliminary assessment for the year ending December 31, 2024. The group expects to record a loss of not less than 28 million Hong Kong dollars before tax for the year, while for the year ending December 31, 2023, it recorded a profit of approximately 5.2 million Hong Kong dollars before tax. Based on current information, the expected loss before tax for the year is mainly due to the anticipated credit loss provisions for financial assets changing from a reversal of about 1.2 million Hong Kong dollars for the year ending December 31, 2023, to a provision for this year.
