SEA Holdings Ltd. Reports Substantial Reduction in Annual Loss
SEA HOLDINGS (00251.HK): It is expected to record a loss of approximately 0.14 billion Hong Kong dollars in the fiscal year 2024.
On March 10, Gelonghui reported that SEA HOLDINGS (00251.HK) announced that the group expects to record a loss of approximately HKD 0.14 billion for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2024, significantly reduced compared to a loss of approximately HKD 0.854 billion for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2023. The expected significant reduction in the loss for 2024 is mainly due to (i) a significant decrease in fair value losses of investment properties in the United Kingdom; and (ii) no investment impairment losses for listed debt securities.
