The company, formerly known as Luzhou Liquor Factory and Luzhou Laojiao Winery in Sichuan Province, was established in March 1950 on the basis of 36 winemaking workshops in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. On September 20, 1993, the company exclusively initiated the establishment of a company limited by means of fundraising with its operating assets. Listed and traded on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange on May 9, 1994. The company's main business model is the design, production and sales of liquor products, and mainly sells “Guojiao 1573” and “Luzhou Laojiao” liquor series. The company's products mainly include Guojiao 1573, Luzhou Laojiao Special Song, Centennial Luzhou Laojiao Aging Wine, Luzhou Laojiao Touqu, and Luzhou Laojiao Black Cover.
