The passenger ferry business was discontinued in January 2000 due to the transfer of local ferry licences, and only five vessels were retained to provide dangerous goods delivery and harbour tour services. The Group is located at the shipyard in Tsing Yi North, covering an area of about 200,000 square feet, and provides ship maintenance services and civil engineering services. The shipyard has the largest and most advanced synchronous lift fleet in Hong Kong. It has the capacity to lift 3,000 tons of weight, and can lift all types of ships, including workboats, ferries, yachts, etc.; the shipyard has a flexible ship transfer system, which can accommodate ten ships at the same time. Tourism business Hong Kong Yau Ma Tei Travel Co., Ltd. provides comprehensive travel services including local travel, Chinese travel, overseas travel, ferry and train tickets, and hotel reservations. Hong Kong Yau Ma Tei Travel Limited has branches all over Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, New Territories and Macau, China.
