I was thinking $Valdor Technology International Inc (VTI.CA)$ and a dividend ETF with dividends reinvested.

I would also like to know why $VANGUARD S&P 500 INDEX ETF TR UNIT (VFV.CA)$ is the preferred choice over $Valdor Technology International Inc (VTI.CA)$ .
Wifes portfolio is $VANGUARD S&P 500 INDEX ETF TR UNIT (VFV.CA)$ , $Valdor Technology International Inc (VTI.CA)$ , $ISHARES S&P/TSX 60 INDEX ETF UNIT (XIU.CA)$ and $VANGUARD FTSE CANADA INDEX ETF TRUST UNIT (VCE.CA)$ . It was handily beating my dividend stocks...at least until I realised that her total included our sons' RESP.
We put the same into each of our accounts per pay, but pay separately into the RESP.
Now they have similar returns.

2️⃣ Fidelity ZERO Large Cap Index Fund (): If you don’t want the fees at all then Fidelity’s S&P 500 tracker, promises the expense ratio of 0.00% (no fees!). My personal favorite.
3️⃣ Schwab U.S. Broad Market Index ETF ( $Schwab US Broad Market ETF (SCHB.US)$ )...
