The$S&P 500 Index (.SPX.US)$is approaching a critical resistance zone at 5,500, where we anticipate strong selling pressure to emerge. This level has historically acted as a psychological and technical barrier—a break above could signal further upside, but a rejection here may trigger a short-term pullback.
Whatta Week! From that panic driven low last Monday afternoon up until the closing bell on Friday, the past week really was something special for traders and investors. Not only did most net long core portfolios rise sharply in value, but short-term trading opportunities seemed to show up each and every afternoon. It was as if four-plus days were plucked out of the bull market and placed in this trade-war environment that had been such a drag on stocks and other risk assets. Can it take? ...
The longstanding stock market saying "sell in May and go away" advises investors to sell their stocks in May and re-enter the market in November. This strategy is rooted in the historical trend of markets performing worse in the summer months compared to the winter in the northern hemisphere. In most years, selling in May and taking a break from the market doesn't usually make much sense. However, in 2025, with Trump's tariff wa...

I'd love to see this happen, I don't know how realistic it is if 200k is the line in the sand or it's $50k or 100k. president Trump has talked about years ago before he was even in office of how tarrifs were used by countries as a source of revenue long before taxes were used as a source of revenue. the reality is the taxes only pay interest they do not go towards government projects when you send your check in April 15th or every week when you get paid the government has their hand in snagging a percentage of your check it's not going to buy military Jets it's not going to build subs it's not going to roads and bridges as much as you'd like to think it goes back to paying debt. I'd love to see this happened even if it's in a reduced or a staggered bracket percentage. what it would do it pretty much solidifies the Republicans to be reelected in 2028 what would these radical lunatic left nut job say ... we want things like they used to be we want to bring back taxing your income.. could Bernie Sanders and AOC sit there and say that Trump's tax cuts only benefit the billionaires? they would have no platform whatsoever if Trump is somehow able to dramatically reduce or completely eliminate on a staggered bracket level federal income taxes as a result of tariffs being implemented on a permanent basis. who in the right mind would vote for a Democrat knowing that you're going from zero federal income taxes to back to one of the brackets that are in place right now.. there's no one in the right mind that would want that to happen
