well it is positive news this goes back to what president Trump said that he was going to streamline the efficiencies for approval and he said it would be great if we could go from an approval to construction and operational in a year for nuclear plants, he says that's not possible but maybe we can get it down to two or three years. so I don't know if the market has digested this news but it absolutely is a tailwind for this industry

I see why you're looking at this one or at least I think I see why with The insider transactions last year and this year. my concern would be the decline in revenue. I know that from a data center standpoint and build out natural gas is the quickest solution is that why you're looking at this company or are you looking at their long-term chart and you see this bottoming that's taking place potentially here where historically it's traded significantly higher? if you're thinking about it from a data center play the companies that are in the exploration side of oil or natural gas under Trump they're not going to be benefactors I don't believe so because as the prices come down for oil and natural gas their margins deteriorate even further. when I first looked at this I saw New York and my initial inclination was Trump wants to build that pipeline throughout New York New England all natural gas which will reduce energy costs by about 30% and I thought that this company was going to be one that I'd heard that potentially would be involved but they're just based out of New York they're not involved in pipeline distribution of natural gas. centrus that one has more of what I like and I'm going to spend some time this weekend reading about it I like when you have that earnings beat Gap up and now the consolidation it mirrors so many other companies perfectly well and money is going to go back in if we can get a few days of a rally or we get past this whole tariff issue and tax season I think beyond that we have the potential for a sustained rally.

you have to understand that all of these companies rallied off of the anticipation of future revenues future nuclear development future nuclear adaptation of SMR reactors and data centers that have not even been constructed yet. these companies as a group even though Chris wright sits on the board of oklo part of President Trump's cabinet.. for the most part these companies are pre-revenue so these companies are the epitome of a.com bubble not Nvidia which is making a lot of money as problems without getting into it why it's sold off but they're incredibly profitable these companies are at the other end of the spectrum. they were highly speculative they rallied after all the utility stocks rallied because they were going to benefit from data center development they will be the first line of providing power especially the ones that provide nuclear with existing nuclear power plants and then the second wave were companies that are tied in with natural gas delivery because it's cheap economical there's no drain on the power grid directly... so it's conceivable that these companies do a full round trip or very very close to it so they go back to where they started from and that completes the whole life cycle of the chart that I posted and a few other people have posted in the past of the investment cycle of a stock which has a lot to do with psychology the rise and fall and the recovery is very very slow takes years and it never achieves the return and price of what the initial rally was. so could this go to $4-5 sure it'll probably go 10 12 somewhere in there but it could just as easily go back right where it started.. you can't buy the dip in these companies when the market sells off or crashes money vacates from the speculative companies and when the market recovers you want to be in for long term the most financially solid cash generating companies that have enormous amount of cash reserves that are necessities to the economy not luxuries and certainly not speculative because in the life cycle of a stock market speculative stocks typically are the last ones to rally before Market sells off because every other stock is pushed to a fair valuation or a high valuation where they've had multiple expansion quicker than earnings growth so money is looking for another category to go into that hasn't been discovered yet and that's what the quantum stocks were that's what the SMR reactor companies were.. hope this helps

10baggar’s comment is ridiculous: The US is experiencing an energy crisis, and tariffs are forcing companies to open plants there. Where are these companies going to get power for their plants from? It’s not so complicated.

@10baggerbamm I agree, most of the AI revolution that is just getting started will need energy, Microsoft is working with the Three mile island Nuclear power station. More will follow.

here's the problem with all of the SMR companies because they don't have revenue or profits even David wrights company that he sits on the board of they're all startup phase momentum stocks. when the market sells off collapses pick a word you want to use. the companies that have no revenue go down the farthest the companies that have real revenue real profits cash in the bank those are the ones that recover the quickest. it's not to say these stocks can't bounce, because if there were to rally in the stock several days and it seems like a lifetime ago that we had such an event... these stocks would bounce several dollars. but due to the uncertainty of tariffs and by the way the big one hasn't been announced that's Europe you're talking 25 to 30% tariffs coming this whole Market instability is because of Canada and Mexico the GDP of Europe compared to those two countries is a multiple many at times over so the volatility right now is just starting.. if you own these companies and you can sell some calls against your position to lower your cost basis for bringing revenue on a short-term basis I would suggest doing that understanding the risk if we do bounce and the stock closes above that strike you're going to lose it. I would not be so fast to buy into SMR. NNE that's the only one where the chart is still holding up and it's still bouncing about $1.50 intraday and I see people trading that stock how long that lasts I don't know. oklo, it's broken down that's David Wright's company.. so as a group they're all pre revenue and they were the hopes and dreams to provide the power to all the data centers over the next 5 to 10 years and while that is going to happen from an investment standpoint I would not be adding right now because I think today is going to be another bloodbath and I think the S&P 500 is going to break its last leg of support and it's going to Crater and that's the end game goal of the people that are opposing Trump and Elon Musk they've already cratered the US dollar and now they want to break the S&P 500 support and all the algo programs will go to sell mode and we'll have a bloodbath like you haven't seen in a long time so don't be so quick to deploy capital if you do buy break it up so if you have 10,000 to invest and you're 100% convinced that one particular company is where you want to put your money break it up into four purchases or five purchases because the uncertainty in the stock market is not coming to an end anytime soon Trump kicked the can down the road to April 2nd with regard to Mexico and Canada and Europe is coming that's a huge 25 to 30% tariff on those countries that's going to Crater the US market when that happens
Bouncing back into the POC range. Expect some chop here. Needs to clear 18.90 for a bigger move higher. $NuScale Power (SMR.US)$
