About Installed Building Products Company

Installed Building Products, Inc. engages in the business of installing insulation for the residential new construction market. It operates through the following segments: Installation, Distribution, and Manufacturing. The Installation segment is derived from the service-based installation of various products in the residential new construction, repair and remodel and commercial construction end markets from national network of branch locations. The Distribution segment acquired Insulation Supplies which is headquartered in New Hope, Minnesota. Insulation Supplies distributes various insulation products including equipment and machines and services in several states throughout the Midwest. The Manufacturing segment operates in Bucyrus, Ohio producing cellulose insulation and specialty industrial fibers. AFT's primary product, cellulose insulation, consists primarily of wastepaper and helps reduce greenhouse emissions by reducing the wastepaper decomposing in landfills which releases methane and carbon dioxide gases. Its products include garage doors, rain gutters, shower doors, closet shelving, and mirrors. The company was founded in 1977 and is headquartered in Columbus, OH.
