Report: Trump cancels a $3 billion policy, blocking the development of regenerative Agriculture in the USA.
The Trump administration last week canceled a major regenerative Agriculture policy in the USA amounting to 3 billion dollars, which could make it harder for Global agricultural food companies like PepsiCo, Archer-Daniels-Midland (ADM), and Nestlé to achieve their sustainability goals. The Climate Smart Commodity Partnership (PCSC) is a grant program from the USA Department of Agriculture designed to support low-emission Agriculture, including practices like improving soil health, increasing carbon sequestration, and reducing the need for synthetic fertilizers. The canceled funding of 3 billion dollars exceeds the amount publicly disclosed by all Global agricultural food companies for regenerative Agriculture.
