On the 19th, Shinagawa Refractories <5351> announced the resolution to acquire 60% of the outstanding Stocks of Reframax Engenharia Ltda. (hereinafter referred to as Reframax), whose main business is refractory construction in Brazil, and make it a subsidiary. Shinagawa Refractories <5351.T> has risen for four consecutive days. At one point, the stock price increased by 22 yen compared to the previous day, reaching 1,826 yen. After the market closed on the 19th, it was announced that 60% of the outstanding Stocks of Reframax Engenharia Ltda. (Reframax), which handles engineering construction in Brazil, would be acquired. Reframax is engaged in refractory construction in Brazil, and Shinagawa Refractories will invest 600 million Brazilian Reais (approximately 15.7 billion yen) through its Brazilian subsidiary.
